Welcome to the first Sunday in Advent. Advent is a time of preparation and waiting for the coming of Christ – our Messiah. Our focus of course is on his first coming, but we do not forget about his promise to return. Through this season we’re going to look at some of the titles given to Jesus that describe our Messiah. We look at Jesus as Emmanuel – God with us. Among his many gifts to us is hope.
