Welcome to the second Sunday in Advent. Advent is a time of preparation and waiting. Through this season we’re going to look at some of the titles given to Jesus that describe our Messiah.
In this service, we look at Jesus as the Prince of Peace. We seem to be suffering from a lack of peace. Too often we’re hearing in the news of the horrific conflicts in the Ukraine, in the Middle East, the Sudan and other places of our world. There is a lack of peace in people’s lives. There is too much fear, stress, and loneliness. We all long for peace. We look at Christ as the Prince of peace. Is this peace available to us now?
