December 4, 6:30pm: The Old Fashioned Christmas Night is back! We will host an evening of carol singing with tree decorating and special music presentations. Following that, there will be dessert and beverages (isn’t dessert the best part of a meal?). Plan to be there to enjoy this much-loved MBC Christmas tradition.  

December 18, 10:30am: The choir presents a new cantata, Morning Star – Celebrating the Everlasting Light of Christmas (by Lloyd Larson)

Light is a prominent theme throughout Scripture. The Christmas story is one of hope, redemption and of fulfilled promises from God. Each of us has experienced our own days, perhaps even extended seasons of darkness. But as Isaiah said, “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light..”  Jesus said, “I am the light of the world.” This is the promise of Christmas.
