    FAQs / Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to Mimico Baptist?

We are located at 80 Hillside Ave, in South Etobicoke, Toronto, Canada, next to John English Junior Middle School. The nearest major intersection is Mimico Ave. and Royal York Road.

How can I get to Mimico Baptist on public transit?

There are two TTC routes (76 Royal York507 Long Branch) with buses that connect with the subway and streetcars that run East/West. The Mimico GO station is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bus-ride away.

    Are you wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Our entire facility is fully wheelchair accessible. This includes step‑free entry, accessible washrooms and barrier‑free movement throughout the building. If you need any assistance when you arrive, our staff will be happy to help.

What is available for my kids?

We offer a Friday Night Kids program and an all‑ages 10:30am Sunday service where children stay with their families. During the service, kids can visit our refill station for handouts that help them follow along, plus simple snacks.

    What should I wear?

For most programs, casual attire is perfectly fine. For our Sunday service, you’re welcome no matter what you wear—come as you are. Most people choose clean casual or business casual, but there’s no dress code. You’ll be warmly welcomed either way.

    Where can I park?

We don’t have a parking lot, but there’s usually street parking around the church. Please check the signs, as some streets have restrictions. The school parking lot next door is private property and not available for church parking.

Is there an offering? Should I bring cash?

We do receive donations both online and in person. You can give by e‑transfer or credit card at mimicobaptist.ca/donate, or place cash in the donation box at the back of the sanctuary.

    Can I watch services online?

We livestream some services, including our combined 10:30 a.m. service at the start of each month and special services like Christmas Eve and Easter. All sermons are recorded and available on our YouTube channel at youtube.com/@mimicobaptist.
You’re always welcome to join us in person as well.
