The Phoenix Montessori School Adolescent Program students are organizing a Community Clean-up on Wednesday, April 22 from 1:15PM to 3:00PM. Join them in picking up trash at Amos Waites Park and the along the waterfront.
Litter can be damaging to plants, animals, marine life and water. It destroys animal habitats and can impact their health in many ways. We want to take action by removing litter from the environment, learn about proper waste sorting, and demonstrate the power of working together! The Adolescents will also be keeping track of how much trash collected.
The school will be providing garbage and recycling bags, as well as, disposable gloves. If you can, please bring your own supplies. Consider bringing your own washable garden gloves instead of using disposable gloves.
