We are excited to offer up to 4 positions of Community Worker.

The Community Worker (CW) position supports Mimico Baptist Church’s mission “A community of Christ sharing Christ with our communities” by piloting, facilitating and evaluating 3rd Space ministry initiatives that engage neighbourhood children, youth, parents and caregivers. 

The role emphasizes: 

• Community research and relational engagement 
• Experimental program design and facilitation 
• Creation of adaptable 3rd Space resources (in‑person and digital) 
• Reflection, evaluation, and recommendations for future ministry 

This is an 8‑week, full‑time Canada Summer Jobs Grant (CSJG)‑funded position (June 29–August 21), supervised by the Pastoral Team Lead and working closely with the Associate Pastor – Ministry Teams.
