Preparing with your next step
As we move toward Easter, this is a great time to pause and think about Jesus—who He is, what He has done and how He continues to work in our lives today.
If you’re a Christian, Lent invites us to reflect, pray and remember God’s love shown through the cross and the empty tomb.
If you’re still exploring faith or wondering who Jesus is, we want to walk with you in that discovery, whether through our church or another church you trust. Your questions are welcome, and so are you.
Here’s a simple look at what’s happening in the next few weeks:
- 8:30 am Mandarin-speaking Service: Finishing the book of Joshua and moving into Lent, focusing on how God leads His people and how we follow Him today.
- 10:30 am English-speaking Service: Studying 1 Peter as we prepare ourselves for Lent.
- World Day of Prayer – Saturday, March 7 at 10:30 am (hosted at Mimico Baptist): Local churches gathering together to pray for Nigeria and for God’s work around the world.
- Good Friday Service – Friday, April 3 at 10:30 am: Meeting at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship (414 Royal York Rd) with other neighbourhood churches to remember the love Jesus showed at the cross.
- Easter Sunday Celebration – April 5 at 10:30 am: Joining together in worship with our Easter cantata and communion.
- Revamped Website: mimicobaptist.ca has been refreshed to help people learn about Jesus and discover what’s happening at MBC. We’d love your feedback—anything that helps make it easier and more welcoming for visitors.
As we journey toward Easter, may this season remind us of God’s hope, grace and new beginnings.
