As the weather cools and the Christmas season begins to appear on the horizon, November gives us a chance to slow down and focus on what matters most: growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus and helping others discover His love too.
This month begins with a combined worship service where our church family will gather together to worship, celebrate Communion, and continue exploring how we can serve through ministry teams. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been talking about discipleship and our church covenant. Now we’ll be looking at practical ways we can work together to serve God and one another.
Our youth group will also be preparing care packages, not only as acts of kindness but as opportunities to share the message of Jesus with people they care about. We are thankful for the ways our young people are learning to live out their faith and invite others into it.
November also includes our Annual General Meeting. This is an important opportunity to celebrate God’s faithfulness, reflect on where He has led us, and prayerfully consider where He is leading us next. Together, we’ll look at ministry plans, leadership transitions, and how to steward the resources God has entrusted to our church.
As the month continues, our English and Mandarin Bible studies will keep meeting each week, helping us grow in our understanding of God’s Word. Our choir is also preparing for its Christmas cantata in December.
The month concludes with the first Sunday of Advent and the launch of our Christmas season through Old-Fashioned Christmas Night. As we begin preparing for Christmas, our prayer is that we would all come to know Jesus more deeply, experience His love more fully, and share that love with others.
Whatever stage you are at in your faith journey, we invite you to join us as we continue following Jesus together.
