What we say our identity is perhaps one of the core and key questions swirling around our society today. The second and closely related question is, where do we get the answer to this question: from within ourselves?, or from someone or something outside ourselves? Today’s social-media driven culture says — in a self-contradictory way — you determine your “self” (as long as you conform to the latest, trending image and attitude.) As Christ-followers, our identity is safe, solid and secure: rooted in Christ.
