The second half of summer can feel a bit like catch-up season. Maybe you’re trying to fit in plans that never quite happened in July. Maybe you’re already looking ahead to September and feeling behind before the fall has even begun. Or perhaps you’re doing your best to savour these final weeks of summer, resting and recharging before the “new year” that seems to arrive after Labour Day.

Here at Mimico Baptist, we’re continuing in a posture of prayerful discernment, seeking God’s direction and believing we’re getting close to being able to share more with the congregation. In the meantime, we’re embracing opportunities to experiment and learn, from new ideas in our worship services to fresh approaches in our Friday Night Kids ministry. We’d love for you to join us, both in discerning where God is leading and in participating in these new initiatives. And as a bonus, you’ll be pleased to know that our sanctuary finally has air conditioning!
