I (David) wrote in the June newsletter that we are on the threshold of a new era of Mimico Baptist. This is both accurate and not; today we’ll consider the foundational truths that have characterized and will continue to define Mimico Baptist church. We celebrate the ministry of Pastor Jim and Jennifer. We are grateful that over the last 29 years they have followed God’s call and guided Mimico Baptist through so many adventures. On this day, we celebrate and bless them in Jesus’s name and together we celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness.
It is Pentecost Sunday and today we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the church with wind and fire.
