This is Epiphany Sunday. We look forward to what the Lord might reveal to us. We will consider Herod’s response to the announcement of the Magi that a child has been born, King of the Jews. Herod gives us some lessons in what not to do.  There are of course some positive lessons in today’s scripture to guide us into this new year.
