On this day we come to the cross of Christ. We reflect on the details and significance of his death.  We come to a place of suffering and ridicule and find God showing his great and victorious love. Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on you, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. We come to the darkness of this day from the darkness of the world in crisis. We enter into the sufferings of Christ to discover he has entered ours and brought his healing grace.
